Preparation for ACCA a DiplFR exams

ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) is the largest international professional organization bringing together economists, accountants and finance specialists. Currently it has nearly 200 ths. members and other approx. 500 ths. students worldwide. ACCA membership is a matter of prestige and specifically in Slovakia, a necessary prerequisite for obtaining a management position in the accounting and finance department of an international company.

ACCA study in Slovakia is usually done remotely, mostly through self-study. The actual tests can be completed in one of many centers and in Slovakia you can sit the exams in Bratislava and Košice.

 

ACCA offers qualifying certificates at various levels:

 

1. Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting

a. Introductory (2 exams) or
b. Intermediate (2 tests)

a. Basis (3 exams)
b. Advanced (Basic + 6 exams)

3. ACCA membership (Advanced Diploma + 5 tests)

 

 

Another specific qualification offered by ACCA is the Diploma in Financial Reporting (DiplFR). The qualification consists of only one exam specifically focused on financial accounting and reporting in accordance with IFRS.
